Sectional Golf Tournament Results

On Tuesday, the Houston Golf Team shot a 391 to beat 6 teams in their Sectional Golf Tournament.  This 391 marks the second lowest 18 hole score for our team this year.  Our team score was enough for a 29 stroke victory over Russia, a 9 stroke victory over Fairlawn, and a 12 stroke victory over Botkins.

Cameron Via (Sr.) had a career day on Tuesday with a 18 hole personal record of 86, which was one spot away from qualifying for the District Golf Tournament.  Bryan Funk (Sr.) added a 97, Collin Walker (Fr.) shot a solid 104, and Cole Pitchford (So.) also added a steady 104.

2017 Houston Golf Team Benefit Scramble

The third annual Houston Golf Team Benefit Scramble will take place on Sunday, October 1st at 1:00 PM.  Teams and hole sponsors can sign up using the downloadable form on our website homepage (wildcatsgolf.com).  Copies of the form are also available in the office, and you can always email Coach Fridley for a copy (nfridley@hardinhouston.org).  Forms need to be turned in by Friday, September 22nd.

All profits from this scramble go directly to help the Houston High School Golf Team purchase team memberships, equipment, and team uniforms for 2018.  These memberships provide over 20 students the opportunity to learn and play the game of golf.  Thank you for your support of these kids and for your support of Houston High School!
