- There are a few students that came to the Mandatory CCP meeting who have not yet registered for CCP classes. This involves meeting with Mrs. Merickel and your signature on a registration form with your classes listed on it. If you are not sure if you have done this, please double check by emailing Mrs. Merickel today.

- The deadline to sign up for Student Council has been extended to 8:00 AM tomorrow morning. For 7th grade, we only have one application so far. 8th graders, also only one application so far, so if you are in 7th or 8th grade and are interested, you have an excellent opportunity to join Student Council. Come get the application today; it only takes a few minutes to complete and drop off the application to the office when you come to school tomorrow morning.

Join us this Friday for our very first Chess Club meeting. We will fully initiate the club next school year, so this meeting is just for anyone who is interested and may want to participate next year. No commitment. This will be a casual club with fun at its center. We will meet in the Media Center during Friday’s Wildcat Time. All current 8th through 11th graders are welcome!

- Current high school students: if you have an interest in law enforcement or criminal justice, the Sidney Police Department is holding their Teen Police Academy this summer. This free, three-day event will get you immersed in the many aspects of what a real-life Police department does. Lunch is provided all three days. If this sounds exciting to you, please stop by or email Mrs. Merickel for more information.
- Tonight, the Houston music department will present the annual spring concert! With 6 ensembles, 18 pieces of music, and 153 musicians, this is sure to be an awesome concert! Be sure to check out the art show in the gym before, after, or between performances. The curtains will open at 7:00 PM in the commons.
