- Seniors: it is time to complete your Senior Graduation Survey. This is how we compile what is announced during the graduation ceremony, so it is vital that you take a couple of minutes to complete this.Mrs. Merickel sent the link to the survey to everyone’s Houston and UVCC email addresses. Please check that and get it done before Friday May 8th.

- Thursday is Field day for 9-12 graders! Make sure to pay attention at lunch today and tomorrow for the events that you will be able to participate in. On Wednesday, during wildcat time students will be able to sign up for the events they wish to participate in.

- All students in grades 7-11 should begin leaving their book bags in their lockers during the school day starting today. This will run through the end of the school year.

- The deadline to sign up for Student Council has been extended to 8:00 AM tomorrow morning. For 7th grade, we only have one application so far. 8th graders, also only one application so far, so if you are in 7th or 8th grade and are interested, you have an excellent opportunity to join Student Council. Come get the application today; it only takes a few minutes to complete and drop off the application to the office when you come to school tomorrow morning.

- Chess is one of the oldest and most popular board games worldwide. Have you ever wanted to play Chess over-the-board, or just learn about the game? Well, now is your chance! Join us this Friday for our very first Chess Club meeting. We will fully initiate the club next school year, so this meeting is just for anyone who is interested and may want to participate next year. No commitment. This will be a casual club with fun at its center. We will meet in the Media Center during Friday’s Wildcat Time. All current 8th through 11th graders are welcome!
