  • Congratulations to the 2026 Prom Court members: Junior attendants are Gracie Dershem, Hailey McCorkle, Tucker Chappe and Carter Sauvie. Prom Queen candidates are Skylar Bone, Lauryn Crim and Lauren Maier. Prom King candidates are Preston McDermit, Dominic Stangel and Dane Vanover.

  • Any 8th through 11th grade students who are interested in potentially earning college credits while in high school through the CCP program must attend the required meeting. This will be held on Thursday February 12th. New CCP students will meet at 6:30 PM, and returning CCP students will meet at 7:00 PM. Both meetings will be held in the Commons.   • Have you tried band in the past and didn’t like it? Have you always wanted to learn how to play an instrument? Do you want to have more friends and be a part of the best team on campus? Join the band! There is a space for everyone in the Houston Band! Talk to Mr. Sheafer about joining

  • Seniors: there are many new scholarship opportunities available on the school website. Deadlines are key, so make sure you give yourself adequate time to submit your materials before the listed dates. Be sure to check out all these opportunities out and get any help you need from Mrs. Merickel.

  • Congratulations to the 7th and 8th-grade Power of the Pen teams for their excellent performance Saturday at the District Competition at Tiffin. The 7th-grade team earned 4th place overall, with Callie Crump finishing 10th place. 8th graders, Willow Smith placed 11th, and Paisley McDermit placed 10th. Good job, writers!

  • Congratulations to the following FCCLA students who competed at regional competition Saturday. Vera Kelly received silver in Job Interview. Claire Holscher, Bella Matos, and Lilly Niswonger received silver in Professional Presentation. Rylinn Bruner, Chole Cantril, and Leigha Larger received Gold in Sports Nutrition. Kayson Hines and Teagan Rauch received gold in Entrepreneurship.

  • This week is National FCCLA Week and FCCLA will be hosting a spirit week!
