Drama Club
Under the direction of Shelley Mann, each year, the Houston Drama Club performs a selected musical for students, parents and community members. For more information and to join, please stop by the high school office.

Environmental Club
The Environmental Club is dedicated to protecting our community's environment through activities and education.  Please see Mrs. Kellersmith if you are interested.

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America
FCCLA is a nonprofit national career and technical student organization for young men and women enrolled in Family and Consumer Sciences.  Please see Mrs. Kamin if you are interested.

Future Farmers of America
The Houston Chapter of the FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.  Please see Mr. Ward if you are interested.

Houstonian Yearbook
The Houstonian is Houston High School's annual yearbook publication. Please see Mrs. Bornhorst or Mrs. Dunham if you are interested.

Muse Machine
The Muse Machine is a performing and visual arts club that helps students express their creativity and get excited about learning.  Please see Mrs. McClurg or Mrs. Monnin if you are interested.

The National Honor Society (NHS) and National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) are the nation's premier organizations established to recognize outstanding high school and middle level students.  More than just an honor roll, NHS and NJHS serve to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character (and Citizenship for NJHS).  Please see Mrs. Paulus or Mrs. Maier if you are interested.

Power of the Pen is Ohio's exclusive, award-winning educational program devoted to excellence in creative writing.

Spanish Circle is the club that has been formed for students who share an interest in studying the language and culture of the Hispanic people.  Any student who is currently enrolled in Spanish is eligible and the annual dues are $3.  Activities include a bonfire, arts and crafts, holiday celebrations, mariachi bands, pen pals, Spanish Movie Night and more.  Please see Señora Chappie if you are interested.

Washington D.C. Trip
Each year, our students in the 8th grade have the opportunity to travel to our nation's capital for a guided tour of this historic city and further enrich their understanding of our government and history.  Our annual DC trip usually takes place in October.  Please see Mr. Bayless or Mrs. Poeppelman if you are interested.
